Monday marked the end of the “first 40 [business] days” in office since Sept 1.
I’m a firm believer that our education in the Assessor’s office is essential in establishing competency and for building public trust.
Here’s our education snapshot:
We currently have 3 team members (myself included) who have completed all requirements to take the Comprehensive Exam for the Level 1 Assessment Certification from the State Board of Equalization.
I have also completed all class and testing requirements for my CTAS County Officials Certificate Program to be a Certified Public Administrator including the exit exam. I just have to wait until I can attend the Spring Capstone event to be “official”.
We have a little ways to go with recommended trainings, but this group is as smart as they can be, and I have no doubt they will do great things!
