I am pleased to have attended the DPA Tennessee Appraisal Fundamentals Workshop in Cookeville from July 9th to 11th. The workshop concluded with a comprehensive exam, and I am delighted to announce that I achieved a score of 92.

This workshop marks the first of four classes I am undertaking to attain my Level 1 Assessment Certification, a goal I aim to accomplish by the fall of 2024. The subsequent classes will cover:

1. The Division’s Tennessee Assessment Law Workshop/examination;
2. The Division’s Basic Mapping Course/examination;
3. IAAO Course 101 – Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal/examination; and
4. The Division’s Level I comprehensive examination.
